The Board of Trustees is governed by the By-Laws of the organization in how it operates.  You can download a copy of our By-Laws by clicking here.

The Board of Trustees solicits candidates to serve on the Board from the membership annually.  Nominees are asked to complete a questionaire to understand their interest and are then interviewed by the Board.   In selecting nominees, the Board of Trustees strives for diversity.  Candidates are then submitted to the Members of Perceptions for election at the Annual Meeting of the organization in January. Board members are elected to three-year terms, with the term of one-third of the board expiring each year.
